The Nigeria House Project Committee was formed with the primary role of establishing a hospitality house during Nigeria’s Participation in major international Sporting events. It is for inter-personal relationship, propagation of socio-economic and political development of our nation before, during and after the Games. The hospitality house is to showcase our country’s rich cultural heritage in arts, craft, music, fashion, delicacies and tourism potentials as well as trade and investment opportunities.
The Nigeria House Project Committee was inaugurated on 24th January, 2016 by the Honorable Minister of Youth and Sports, Barr. Solomon Selcap Dalung at the Federal Secretariat maitama Abuja, Nigeria.
Members of the Committee are as follows:
Hon. Bappa A. Missau – Chairman
Mohammed B. Abdullahi – Project Co-ordinator/CEO
Alhaji Bala Usman – Member
Mrs. Adeshola Ndu – Member
Mr Raymond O. Nebo – Member
Mr Tar Ukoh – Member
Mall. Shamma Makpa – Secretary
Interestingly, the House will be a hub of activity that will showcase our potential. It will also be a place of nightly entertainment cutting across the six geo-political zones of Nigeria.
It is my sincere belief that with the overwhelming support of the Federal Government of Nigeria and her Agencies, there are high hopes that much success will be achieved at the Nigeria House in Rio-Brazil.
