Nigeria House Project Coordinator Arrives Australia For Final Preparation Ahead Of Games
Project Coordinator of the Nigeria House Hospitality Project, Mohammed B. Abdullahi, is in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia on the order of the sports minister, Barrister Solomon Dalung, to put finishing touches to arrangements for a befitting house during the Commonwealth Games commencing next month.
The Honourable Minister had inaugurated the committee to ensure Nigerians feel at home away from home during the games with Mohammed Abdullahi as the Project Coordinator/Consultant.
With the games fast approaching, Barrister Dalung, weekend mandated Mohammed to hit Australia to among other reasons conduct the final inspection tour of facilities and would be venue of the house as well as hold discussions with service providers so as to ensure good outing.
Consequently, Mohammed who left Nigeria weekend is now in Australia for a week. During the visit, Mohammed will meet with Chambers of Commerce and Industry and other groups on areas that would be beneficial to the Nigerian House Project.
Already, mobilization is ongoing for those interested to do exhibitions in areas like agriculture, cultural artifacts, leather works, solid minerals, fashion and other exhibitions during the games in the House. The House will also play host to business investment conferences, cultural entertainments, performances, Nigerian cuisine and lots more.
The inspection will be done jointly with the Nigerian High Commission in Australia.
